Sweet Potato Breakfast Bowl

Imagine a smoothie bowl, but on the savoury side. This recipe is the perfect way to start the day with a creamy American sweet potato puree. The sweetness of the potato balances perfectly with the saltiness of the guacamole and the acidity of the labneh.

You can then add chia seeds, pecans and pomegranate arils.This bowl is served with mini pita breads that you can also replace with your usual morning bread.

It’s a recipe that can help give you the energy you need to accomplish your day. You can even prepare the elements the night before and put it all together in the morning to be ready in no time.

Feel free to garnish your bowl with other types of nuts or other spices like zaa’ttar, ras el hanout or garam masala. You can even add an egg on top of the breakfast bowl to get more protein!
